The month of April was a very successful month for Alyd Air.
For the first time in its history Alyd Air used a jet for a charter flight. A group of german golfers was flown with a Citation II to George and picked up a week later.
A Beechcraft 1900D has also been used for the first time.
The Aztec and Partenavia are being used for advanced training with several flight schools and the Aztec has had an avionics upgrade which includes a Garmin 430.
The following months are also very promising for Alyd Air.
By end of May Alyd Air will be operating out of its own offices in the General Aviation Area, Cape Town International. More informations following soon.
From June on Alyd Air will have it's own represantation in Europe, with it's an office in Salzburg, Austria.

Now the Private Jet prices have come down a lot and many customers are preferring a private instead of a commercial flight.
